The Artist Spotlight today featured Hero And The Horror and their song "When They See Us." The band released the song earlier this year.
I asked the guys how they come up with the name and the inspiration behind the song:
1. We actually came up with the name after finding it on the back of a Batman trading card our drummer (Sam) had. lol.
2. I think the inspiration was Ray (guitarist) writing a couple of great riffs that we strung together. Lyrically it's what Dean (singer) was going through at the time. He has a tendency to just write about things in his life like a story. And make it relatable and palatable on many levels.
